🌙Join Dr. Z at the library for the sixth talk in the Lunar Celebration Series! In this journey across the solar system to celebrate our Moon and the upcoming Artemis II mission, we will explore the different moons of the solar system in great detail!
🌌🚀☆This talk will explore one of the most fascinating frontiers in our solar system—Titan, Saturn’s largest moon. This talk takes you on an exciting journey through the goals of NASA’s Dragonfly mission, which will send a drone-like rotorcraft to soar above Titan’s alien landscapes. Discover how this ambitious mission will search for the building blocks of life, investigate methane lakes and icy dunes, and unveil the mysteries of a world that looks strangely Earth-like, yet wildly different. This presentation will detail the composition of Titan and the goals of the Dragonfly mission set to launch in 2028!🌌🚀☆
This program is for adults (teens are welcome).
Registration is required whether you are attending in person or via Zoom.
