Join Dr. Z at the library for the third talk in the Lunar Celebration Series! In this journey across the solar system to celebrate our Moon and the upcoming Artemis II mission, we will explore the different moons of the solar system in great detail!
☆ For the third Lunar Celebration Series talk, we will discuss the Galilean moon, Callisto. Also known as Jupiter IV, Callisto is the second largest moon of Jupiter.
☆ Callisto holds many mysteries from its heavily saturated surface and multiring structures to its potential subsurface ocean which may contain trace amounts of ammonia and antifreeze within the water.
☆During this talk, Dr. Z will share more about the discovery of Callisto, the history of the body, the composition, and missions which have explored it!
