Homeschool families with children ages 7 and up  are invited to the Kent Library on Thursday, October 23rd at 3 pm for an unforgettable and spooky experience with master Storyteller, Jonathan Kruk!

The Legend Comes to Life

Journey into the haunted heart of the Hudson Valley with Jonathan Kruk, Master Storyteller. His legendary solo performance of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow is more than a reading—it’s a full theatrical experience. With dramatic voices and lively gestures, Kruk brings Washington Irving’s tale to vivid life.

Unlike other versions, this show is interactive, fast-paced, and filled with historical context. Furthermore, Jonathan adapts each performance to the setting, whether it’s in a candlelit church, a theater, or a school auditorium. Because of this, audiences feel immersed in the eerie atmosphere of Sleepy Hollow itself.

Even longtime fans of the story will discover something new. In addition, Jonathan’s extensive research into Hudson Valley folklore gives the tale added richness and authenticity.
