Turn those doodles into realistic fine-art drawings! 🖊️
This 1-Day 3-Hour Workshop will focus on mastering the ballpoint pen as a drawing tool. Students will learn both basic and refined techniques using hatching, crosshatching, stippling, and scribbling to create halftones for shading. Emphasis will be on working from actual subjects.
Individual attention will be given to beginning, intermediate, and advanced artists. Basic drawing tools (paper, pencils, ballpoint pens, and erasers) will be provided, but students are encouraged to bring their sketchbooks (9x12 or 12x16), pencils, ballpoint pens, and erasers.
*note: this class was originally scheduled as “BACK TO BASICS OF COMPOSITION: See Still Lifes Come Alive” but has been updated at the instructor’s request.
Registration is required. For adults and seniors.
