Enhance your creative skills with local artist Keith Mueller at the Kent Library!

This 1-day 3-hour workshop will focus on depicting the second-most expressive part of human anatomy after faces: hands.  Emphasis will be on rendering accurate anatomy and gestural expression.

Students will learn both basic and refined techniques using graphite pencils to lay a foundation for more complex media: ink, pastel, acrylic, and oil. 

 

Individual attention will be given to both beginning and advanced artists. Basic drawing tools (paper, pencils, and erasers) will be provided, but students are encouraged to bring their own sketchbooks (9x12 or 12x16), pencils, and erasers.
