Paws to Read

Sunny Boy, a volunteer from Therapy Dogs International, will visit our library to give children ages 5-11 the opportunity to gain confidence, improve reading skills and/or relieve anxiety by reading aloud to a therapy dog. Fifteen minute reading sessions are available by appointment only. Registration is required. Please call the Library at 845-225-8585 to register. To allow more people to have a chance at reading to the dogs, participants will only be allowed one time slot an hour. Registration is required for each individual session.
