The Connecticut Witch Trials — Everyone knows about the Salem witch trials of 1692, but the first person executed for witchcraft in the American colonies wasn’t from Salem. She was a young woman named Alse Young from Windsor, Connecticut. In 1647, she was found guilty of witchcraft and executed by hanging in Hartford, then buried in an unmarked grave. The Connecticut witch panic and trials are almost unknown to most people, but they are an extremely important and wicked slice of American history. In this virtual talk, paranormal investigator Barry Pirro will explore this dark part of Connecticut's past.
Barry Pirro has been a professional paranormal investigator for over twenty years, and he has appeared on radio shows, and podcasts across the country. His cases have been sought after by top paranormal reality TV shows.
