Reading Buddies for readers and pre-readers of all ages

We’re excited to announce that our Teen Reading Buddies program will be at the Kent Library this summer! Be sure to check our calendar for specific dates and times.

Children can either read alongside a teen volunteer or enjoy being read to! Each session is flexible in length, depending on the number of kids waiting and the availability of reading buddies, but every child will enjoy at least 5-10 minutes of one-on-one reading time. Afterward, they can choose a fun prize from our treasure chest. This program is open to kids of all ages and is a fantastic way to foster a love of reading. Children under 5 must be accompanied by an adult.
