This is an in person program for ages 5 - 15. Program title: Impact Cratering throughout the Solar System Date: Monday September 23, 2024 Time: 4:30-5:15 pm Description: Impact craters have shaped many planetary surfaces throughout our history. Impact craters can tell us much about the surface composition (rock vs ice) and the early solar system. Impact craters have even shaped the surface of Earth! During this talk I will discuss the impact craters throughout the solar system including the major impact craters on Earth. We will also conduct a fun impact crater experiment!
