Looking for a way to earn community service hours while giving back to your community? Our Teen Library Volunteer Program offers students the opportunity to gain valuable experience, support their local library, and build skills that look great on National Honor Society applications, club requirements, and resumes. Volunteers will work alongside Noelle, the library’s newest programmer, helping with a variety of weekly library tasks such as organizing materials, preparing displays, assisting with programs, and keeping the library welcoming for visitors of all ages.
This is a relaxed and friendly environment where teens can connect with others, enjoy music while they work, and grab snacks during their volunteer shift. Whether you need service hours or just want to get involved, this is a great way to make a positive impact while having fun. Weekly participation is encouraged, and all experience levels are welcome. Volunteers can come and go as their schedules allow — stay for 30 minutes, an hour, or the full two-hour session, whatever works best for you.
Volunteers who participate will also be added to our teen volunteer email list, so they can be the first to hear about future volunteer opportunities, special events, and additional ways to earn community service hours throughout the year.
