*New session! September-December *Please note there will be no class on Sept. 2 for Labor Day, Oct. 14 for Columbus/Indigenous Peoples Day, and Nov. 11 for Veterans Day. Stretch classes are mobility-based sessions that aim to improve functional capacity, flexibility and movement, recover better, and prevent injury. Corrie will teach you how to properly activate and control important stabilizing muscles and perform movements with effective dynamic and static stretching, while getting supple and energized. IMPORTANT INFORMATION- PLEASE READ BEFORE REGISTERING - Be sure to have doctor approval before starting - Hydrate before, during and after class - Have comfortable shoes - Safe flooring (no carpet if possible) - Make sure you have room to move I am voluntarily participating in the Classical Stretch program offered by the Kent Public Library. I recognize that the program requires physical exertion that may be strenuous at times and may cause physical injury. I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a physician prior to and regarding my participation in this program. In consideration of my being permitted to participate in Classical Stretch, I fully and unconditionally release Kent Public Library and instructor Corrie Russinko from any claims resulting from or arising out of my participation in the program and agree that I will not bring, or allow anyone to bring in my name, any claims against the Kent Public Library or instructor Corrie Russinko.
